Welcome to rekoMAInda. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
rekoMAInda is a free pantry management and meal planning app that helps you track food you have at home, suggests recipes based on what's expiring soon, and helps you reduce food waste. It's provided as-is, and is currently an actively developed, evolving app.
rekoMAInda is free. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no plan to introduce one without clearly telling users first. Nothing in the app is a hidden or disguised paid feature.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, contact us at rekomainda@gmail.com as soon as you can.
You must be old enough to legally use online services in your jurisdiction to create an account.
You own the recipes and content you create in rekoMAInda. By publishing a recipe for other users to see, you give other users permission to view and use that recipe within the app — you're not giving up ownership of it, and you can un-publish it at any time.
Don't publish content that isn't yours to share, that's offensive, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights.
rekoMAInda is a tracking and organization tool, not a food safety authority. Expiration dates, shelf-life estimates, and allergy warnings shown in the app are based on general category defaults, publicly available reference data (including USDA FoodKeeper data), and information you enter yourself. These are estimates meant to help you plan, not a guarantee of food safety.
Always use your own judgment. If a food item looks, smells, or seems off, don't eat it, regardless of what the app shows. Allergy warnings in the app are a helpful reminder based on what you've told us, not a substitute for reading actual ingredient labels or exercising your own care around foods you're allergic to.
We are not liable for illness, injury, or harm resulting from reliance on expiration estimates or allergy information shown in the app.
Product information shown after scanning a barcode comes from Open Food Facts, a public, community-maintained database. We don't guarantee this data is complete or accurate for every product — always double-check details that matter to you (like allergen content) against the actual product packaging.

We may suspend or remove access for accounts that violate these terms.
Since rekoMAInda is actively developed, features may be added, changed, or removed over time. We'll try to avoid removing features people rely on without notice, but we can't guarantee the app will always look or work exactly as it does today.
You can stop using rekoMAInda and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
rekoMAInda is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the app accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate — see Section 5 specifically regarding food safety information.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
